The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
時をかける少女
Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo
When 17-year-old Makoto Konno gains the ability to, quite literally, “leap” backwards through time, she immediately sets about improving her grades and preventing personal mishaps. However, she soon realises that changing the past isn’t as simple as it seems, and eventually, will have to rely on her new powers to shape the future of her and her friends.

Well, it’s been a while since I have watched an Anime, and I tell you… I really think I should watch them more often. My internet download limit, however, doesn’t agree with me

Makoto is a girl who loves baseball and pudding (I swear Japan has an obsession with pudding – it always comes up). No real worries or ambitions in life. So, when she somehow gains the ability to go back in time, she uses her power for trivial things. Running late for school? No worries, go back and get up earlier! Go back and do the test again, second time round you’ll know all the answers! And now you can sing Karaoke for as long as you’d like
However, while improving her life she realises that she may be ruining others. As she tries to undo all she’s caused she realises she may now have the power forever…

Those damn crickets! I swear they are in every anime. Ah, I guess after a while you start to grow fond of those crickets….
Ahem. Right. The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. Wow, this was an awesome ride! Makoto really has fun with her new powers, but then she begins to regret her actions and how they have inadvertently hurt other people.
This anime turned out to be more powerful than I thought it’d be. The first hour is a lot of fun. The last half hour is more serious, about how she deals with the consequences of her actions (and maybe a bit of romance
) In trying to fix things, she some how makes things a lot worse.
Lots of fun, but also deeper. A bit of romance is always good.
Would have liked more answers. Not much more, mind you, but a little bit more.
I would have liked a few more “answers” (or explanations, or more information) such as more about the painting, and more about Chaiki. But mainly I have no complaints, this was awesome and I recommend it to all
